Job responsibilities:
1. Develop and implement the company's legal policies and procedures to ensure
compliance with laws and regulations.
2. Analyze and interpret legal documents, including contracts, agreements, and legal
clauses, and provide legal advice for company decisions.
3. Monitor regulatory changes to ensure the company's compliance with legal and
industry standards and adjust business practices promptly.
4. Handle legal litigation matters, including participating in investigations, preparing
court documents, and representing the company in court.
5. Assist in developing training programs to provide legal awareness and compliance
training for employees.
Job Requirements and skills:
Bachelor's degree in law, finance, accounting, or related field
At least 10 years of legal or compliance experience in banking or financial services industry
Knowledge of AML/CFT and local regulations and practices
Strong research and analytical skills
Excellent communication skills
Proficiency in KYC (Know Your Customer) practices would be a plus
Strong in reviewing agreements and documents
